Tamara Campbell brings over 25 years of experience in municipal urban planning.  She is currently serving as Principal Planner under the firm’s Jurupa Valley contract to provide all in-house planning services, where she is in charge of Advance Planning for the Planning Department.  Ms. Campbell has served in senior level planning positions for the cities of Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa and El Monte and has managed and supervised planning division activities and staff and has extensive current and long-range planning experience. She has served as project manager for comprehensive General Plan Updates and large-scale commercial and residential developments. Additionally she has authored and implemented Specific Plans, developed Zoning Code Ordinances and amendments, reviewed proposed planning applications for compliance with CEQA, and coordinated efficient review of planning applications with various City Departments, architects, developers and attorneys. She is the recipient of several awards for outstanding planning and public relations efforts.
